This hotel was very nice, the staff was friendly, and accommodating the room was cold and clean. The bathroom had a rain shower head and the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. We had breakfast at the coffee shop in the lobby which was good. My coffee could have been stronger but the atmosphere and staff made up for that. Everyone here was very accommodating. Unfortunately, we were only in town for one night so we didn't get a chance to explore the neighborhood but the hotel was within walking distance to lots of things. We will be back.

Valet didn't greet us or say anything like "someone will be with you soon". Finally two young men showed up and apologized, and were friendly. When we checked out, the woman at desk was doing something on computer, didn't acknowledge us, and when she did, she was not friendly - I different. Thus a less than perfect rating.

I found some great outdoor running options in the local country park a few minutes run from the hotel. The cafe in reception was good and a nice bar. The team were friendly and helpful.

The location was GREAT, right in the heart of downtown Salem. I really enjoyed the fact that we could walk around the downtown area very easily. The hotel was also very modern looking and I enjoyed the large seating rooms where you can read a book or enjoy coffee in the morning.
